ABOUT
Belly Chorus is a vocal music ensemble in Brooklyn, New York, dedicated to creative interdependence.
Our meteoric first year has championed innovative programming across folk, popular, classical, and experimental traditions, launched a composer commissioning program generating twelve new works for the ensemble, and a composer's fellowship training members of Belly Chorus members to write for large vocal ensemble, while the group’s membership quadrupled over our first three seasons.
Belly Chorus remains committed to welcoming singers of all skill levels as the ensemble grows into our ambitious fourth season of singing together. If you are interested in joining our Spring 2027 season, information will be posted here and on our Instagram later this year. Please follow us to stay in touch, or email us at [email protected]
